I was at the time alternating between Cetirizine and Loratadineto control my allergies. When I went to the emergency room because I could not breathe, they gave me Abuterol and oxygen.

Funny… been there, done that (more than a few times), still have the pencils… nothing like a dual-capstan tape deck to keep the spaghetti away…
Radio Shack used to sell cassette repair kits, complete with a new shell, and (IIRC) some ultra-thin splicing tape that supposedly wouldn’t damage read/write heads, capstans, etc.
I’ve got a couple of cassettes here that, erm, I haven’t gotten around to yet… I also have a bunch of Chuck Swindoll (when he was at Fullerton E-Free) cassettes that have sort of stretched in places, so Chuck sounds like he’s vocalizing… 🙂 Wish I had those on CD…
Funny to see how technology goes away, seemingly ever faster… don’t have to worry about magnetized paper clips anymore (again) ….

Many conservatives are blinded by their innate drive to “Back the Blue.”
The only domestic terror threat in our nation comes from Federal “law enforcement” agencies and their paramilitary forces, like Antifa/BLM. The examples of Ruby Ridge and Waco, followed by the suspicious Oklahoma City bombing, should have awoken us to the truth long ago. These Feds are hired guns for the Regime, and they will do literally anything they are ordered to do, up to and including the wholesale slaughter of American citizens.
Police departments present a more complicated issue. In many places, the thin blue line is a real thing, that is, the police do represent protection for the decent against the criminal. Leaving aside the Second Amendment and our God-given right to self-defense, the simple fact that the police represent the barrier to evil monsters is what drives the sentiment behind “Back the Blue,” coupled with the Leftist assault on the institution of local policing.
The 2020 Antifa/BLM Riots shattered the mystique that had surrounded police in the conservative mind. We witnessed urban police department after urban police department practice anarcho-tyranny. Decent, red-blooded Patriots were harassed and ruined, while criminals burned, raped, and murdered with impunity. Spokane, WA, deployed its SWAT team to keep concerned parents away from a Drag Queen Story Hour.
The era of Medical Tyranny has been even more revealing. In jurisdictions across the nation, both urban and rural, we see police departments brutally enforcing mask diktats, arresting preachers, dragging parents from school board meetings, etc. In many cases now, Patriots are afraid to cooperate with the police, and rightfully so. Look at what Australia is doing to its citizens as we speak.
County Sheriffs have the power to stop this, and many of our rural Sheriffs have stood up and held the line for liberty. These men should be applauded.
But for the other police departments, those that have shown themselves all too willing to do whatever they are told, regardless of the Constitution and the people whom they are sworn to serve (yes, I know that courts have decided that “the people” legally does not mean that officers owe each individual a duty, but rather the polity), why should we continue to back you?
It’s time for a new deal between the police and the people. Patriots must tell police officers that we will Back the Blue IF the Blue Backs Us.
