Unlike boron, carbon, and nitrogen, which each have TWO stable isotopes, and fluorine, which has only ONE stable isotope, but LIKE oxygen, NEON also has THREE stable isotopes – 20, 21, and 22.

The story of NEON, after which our friend NEON REVOLT is named, is quite interesting, and I suggest reading the two links above.

Neon is actually the FIFTH most common element in the universe – and yet it is RARE on Earth (rarer than helium) because of its volatility and true inertness, forming NO known compounds. Thus, it just LEAVES the planet.

Neon’s FAILURE as a tool of interior lighting (the garish color of the plasma was simply hated by people as ambient light) led to its SUCCESS as a tool of advertising.

The amounts of the three isotopes of neon tell a story about many things, including the formation of the universe and the history of science.

And what would COUNTRY MUSIC be without NEON LIGHTS?

    I’ve been there. It’s well worth a visit.

    Of course, there are several somewhat odd museums in Vegas: https://themobmuseum.org/ https://nationalatomictestingmuseum.org/ and https://www.springspreserve.org/ come to mind. Each took at least twice as long as just looking at the website would predict (the springspreserve took >3x as long before they threw us out).

    The Mob Museum has a multimedia presentation about Mob testimony in the actual room where the testimony happened. And the Atomic Testing Museum will teach you as much as is legal to know about atomic bombs.

    1. Wolf, one suggestion I have is to place open thread first. Many of us have read Flep’s great news round up on the other thread and it’s a lot of scrolling to get to open thread.
      Not important, of course, but perhaps making it easier for regulars.

    I’m confused …

    …about the purpose of the U Tree …

    I thought this was supposed to be an alternative part of the Q Tree where we could engage in more “spirited ” or more “robust”…even more salty , if you will, discussions of various topics, along with humor (spice !) and other “colorful” opinions that might otherwise be construed as, perhaps, “uncivil” on the QTree so as not to be too offensive over there…esp when the topics might be related to, say, religion or things of that controversial nature…

    I understand how things were getting out of hand and unnecassarily rude, hurtful and personallyy insulting…and even threatening !

    …but I am now confused as to whether this U Tree was just an “experiment”…or a test of some sort…to weed out certain bad behavior…?

    and, if so, what does that mean now …going forward, as they say on cable news…?

    1. I would not have created this place solely to accommodate one, two, or even a good dozen miscreants.

      I believe that having the second blog with full legal speech hard-coded in from the beginning gives me a certain amount of operational freedom. It takes almost no overhead to run it – even if nobody is here. I intend to let it persist THROUGH THE ELECTION AT LEAST.

      After that, if nobody needs it, I may just mothball it. But for now, I want it battle ready!!! 😀

      2. Wolfmoon, One of the things that really surprised me about Utree is how many people who support the Second Amendment to our Bill of Rights do not support our First Amendment.

        To me this is number one because it is of primary importance.
        The first things the Communist (Satanists ) do is take over the language. Jesus is the WORD. The Satanists always say, “God didn’t really say that did He?” By taking away our right to speak freely, they take away everything else little by little. That is what Political Correctness is all about.
        Humans think in words. If they cannot express themselves in words, then the idea cannot be expressed and Satan becomes the word.
        I think this site is even more important than the other sites. I thought maybe you were just giving people the right to show who they really are before you firmed it up.
        My comment seemed to upset people because I quoted Ezra Pound. Many years ago, I realized that we are being lied to about everything all the time. I started reading the original statements instead of other peoples interpretation of the statements. I have been an avid reader since I was 8 or so. I am 78 now and I can tell you that I have literally read thousands of books and many more articles.
        If I never read Scripture but only read what the Satanists say about Jesus, I would have a very different opinion of God than I do.
        I think that as this site continues to exist, the people who belong here will find it and it will be worth your effort.
        President Trump said that he will be our voice and he is giving us our language back so that we can think and speak clearly. Thank God for President Trump.

    2. I think the reason Yovanovitch is so hurt that she was relieved from her Ukraine post is that she did what the deep state expected her to do. She was the good soldier for the Soros of life and the State Department and new world socialist Nazi regime.
      After watching back knowing Soros small beginning I realize this goal is not socialism it is bigger it is Nazi control of the world.
      Why encourage Muslims ? Muslims were aligned with Hitler and Nazi regime.
      Am I going off into the conspiracy deep end? The whole thing stinks to high heaven.

          She had choices to do the right thing along the way and she chose poorly. Her choices caught up with her and she does not like it.
          That she ordered spying on US citizens still need to be dealt with in my opinion. Who gave her such powers?

        Fifteen years ago, there was an online book called ‘Tell the Children the Truth’, if I remember rightly. It was lengthy, full of news reports from the time and plenty of photographs about the Second World War about how AH co-opted some of a different faith into helping his cause.

        1. My parents told me what was the most disturbing how many in the beginning German Jews fallowed Hitler.
          No one wanted to talk about it. Yes all kind of people different faiths participated putting Hitler into power. Sadly to many did not realize the outcome and how it would affect them.
          I guess history repeats itself. We who have lived long enough to hear and see many things see the danger to our Republic.

          1. I remember being very moved by the award-winning film The Pianist, which, whilst being very LONG was also VERY TENSE at the same time. No doubt you have seen it.

            The most memorable scene for me was when the young Jewish protagonist was in the safe house — an apartment — and, while he was in the kitchen on a stool to reach some crockery, his foot slipped and quite a lot of dishes crashed onto the floor. The woman living beneath him rang the authorities. He had to escape PRONTO.

            I cannot remember if the Jewish complacency was in that film (a family dinner discussion early on) or perhaps something I read at the time that said that the Jews in Germany thought that AH would protect them or, at least, overlook them, because, after all, they had prosperous businesses and they would be okay.

            Wow. Knowing that taught me that none of us is immune to political vagaries and violence of the day.

            On a related note, my mother told me that she read The Diary of Anne Frank to me as an infant. She said that she had wanted to read it and, therefore, read it aloud to me as well. Years later, as a young adult, I was so grateful for being able to visit Amsterdam and spend an afternoon with two of my classmates (we were studying abroad) at the Anne Frank Museum. Those were three hours I will never forget.

            If I remember rightly, some members of that household also thought that AH would do right by them because they were earning their own way in the world. What a tragic outcome. May it never be repeated.

            This is why I do not understand and do not condone anti-Semitism in any way, shape or form.

            1. After the was a case friend of my grandparents visited us she had been in the concentration camp.
              She wanted to take me back to Berlin with her to live with her. I always wondered why and always wondered , even though my mother had told me about sporting me and it failed, that I never fit in my family.
              The friend of my grandparents had a big fight with my parents and they send me away for the time she was visiting.
              I finally let it go and maybe there are things in life I should not know.
              My one son did his DNA test and yes Ashkenazi Jew was high in his DNA. I always knew my grandfather was but this was a strong reading.
              I have no discrimination in my for anyone.

Sorry, there are a few possible typos there that could have led me to that, possibly mistaken, conclusion.

                That is quite a burden to carry. I am happy to read that you were able to let it go, eventually.

                Your son’s DNA results are interesting, based on your grandfather’s heritage. I cannot say that I ‘understand’ your experience, but I can totally ’empathise’ with it.

                Your story would make a great serial drama. There must be thousands like you the world over who could relate to it.

              3. I never felt I fit into my family.
                There have been people who offered to write my life story but then I feel it is not that special. The more I get to know people the more I find out so many have much more unique life stories.
                I am very resilient and looking back over my life I see God’s hands in it. I see steppingstones that were laid out for me to fallow.
                Letting go is easy if one knows the secret. Love is the key to everything.

        It has never made any sense to me why nobody ever stops Soros.

        It’s like he’s Goldfinger or Lex Luthor, an arch-villain bent on controlling and destroying the world, and everybody who cares knows it — except this isn’t a movie, and any sovereign government in the world could silence him lawfully and permanently in under 24 hours.

        Including us.

        Soros is exactly what Constitutionally issued ‘Letters of Marque and Reprisal’ were expressly designed for.

        Like most of the other supposedly complicated problems we face, they’re not complicated, they’re simple.

    The troublesome Trump will be done away with, order will be restored, and the Vindmans of D.C. can resume their rightful place as the determiners of American government policy, foreign and domestic. Enough ‘Republicans’ will be bought off by Pence’s seeming conservatism and Haley’s professed loyalty to Trump (at least as compared to John Kelly and Rex Tillerson) to quell any resistance from the knuckle-dragging far right.

    Sundance has a pretty good record of reading the political tea leaves in this coup era, so it’s pretty jolting to get his read in such explicit terms.

    If Sundance is right as to the plan, we’d like to interject right now a blunt warning to the ruling class elite from both parties who might lend their support, or withhold their resistance to such a plan.

    — Schiff’s fraud has exceeded the capacity of the English language to convey its depravity and moral bankruptcy. “Disgusting, disgraceful, egregious, unconscionable, abominable” — these are level 2 or 3 words for a level 10 travesty.

    2. I am having a problem with Pence. To me it seems , not necessary true, that he conveniently disappears when POTUS is in political danger. What I have seen of late he behaves presidential. Something is not right he is preserving himself from cabal’s rathe.
      He was is a friend of Paul Ryan. How can one be a friend with a guy who failed President Trump, the country and Congress as leader?
      Nicky Haley is another interesting person. Was she not seen with Brennan at a ballgame? I thought I saw the pic. Maybe I am not very trusting.

        1. I think Pence has learned a lot from the VSG, but he’s not intuitive like Trump on how to out-fox the swamp, even if he REALLY WANTED TO, of which I’m not convinced. However, Trump did TRUST in Pence, and I think I know why. I believe that Trump plans in ways that are guaranteed to WORK OUT – though perhaps in less efficient and speedy ways – even in his absence. In other words, he ALWAYS covers the down side. That’s just the way he is. And I trust that.

        But DJT is obviously pushing for a senate trial, and he wouldn’t be doing that unless he was absolutely positive that not only would he win, but that it was a critical part of his plan.

        Otherwise, the incredible damage to our country to go through this process wouldn’t be worth the payoff.

        The payoff must be yuuuge in order for DJT to be doing everything possible to provoke the Dims to impeach him.

        Americans absolutely will not stand for it.

        More specifically, 70+ million MAGA patriots won’t stand for it.

        If the Senate convicts Trump, none of the other stuff SD talks about will take place, because the villagers will absolutely storm the castle. I would be surprised and ashamed if less than 20% of the population showed up in Washington D.C. That’s 68 million people, marching on D.C.

        There is not a military on the planet that could stop 68 million people converging on a stationary target, short of calling in a nuclear strike on their own position.

It would be a good idea to start making preparations for that possibility, and be very vocal about it, letting the political-class traitors know loud and clear what our intentions are, if they should do anything so foolish as to convict an innocent man in service to their corrupt overlords.

          Not only would talking about it ‘go viral’ with enthusiasm as the weeks-long trial in the Senate took place, but people would be actively thinking about it and talking with others about it and making travel plans, and the political-class needs to know the intentions of MAGA patriots to do this are real, so that the threat is credible, hopefully averting the need to go through it.

          But prepared we should be.

    4. SD never appears to take into account that he could be wrong, and I don’t mean just a little, but completely.

      Because that’s how this whole thing always sets up. Either everything is going wrong and DJT is a clueless dope continually being misled by everyone around him, or things are going exactly according to plan and we are closer than ever to the dam bursting.

      And due to the nature of so many individual points of friction and contention, there really can’t be any middle ground. One view is more or less correct, and the other more or less wrong.

      SD always goes all-in with ‘everything is going wrong’, and never — EVER — considers the possibility that DJT and whichever what hats are working with him have set things up almost perfectly.

      Or more simply, SD always sees the glass 9/10ths empty.

      SD isn’t stupid, so there must be some rational explanation for it. The one that occurs to me is that he’s running a psy-op. Not because I like conspiracy theories, but because it at least potentially answers all the questions.

      He quite rightly rails against the MSM, but then obsesses over every narrative they push. Sunday is the worst, I call it ‘Suicide Sunday’, because he wallows in the misery of every Cabal-produced Sunday fake-news show in America. If there is anyone on the MAGA side who is more relentlessly negative about Trump’s prospects, with a higher profile than SD, who would that be?

      I can’t think of anyone.

      Q presents an alternative viewpoint to SD’s, but Q isn’t just broadcasting a narrative like the Sunday talk shows. Q drops ‘clues’ and encourages millions of people to dig in and do research and compare notes, so that we ‘organically discover’ the truth ourselves.

      This concept is like sunlight to Dracula as far as SD is concerned. He is openly hostile toward it. He won’t hear of it, won’t talk about it, and if you do, you’re gone. Like a spastic child tyrant. Except he’s not, he’s smart, so something is wrong with the picture as it’s being presented to us.

        I read SD and I find a lot of good information there. It is important to have good information. It does seem that his conclusion is always that we must give up because the DS will win. I find that odd. The only logical explanation is that he draws us in to encourage us to go along to get along and just give up.
        The people in charge form “Blue Ribbon” Panels and invite you to join because you are “special”. They bring you in to a large group and then try to convince you to conform to their opinion because they are “right” and you are “wrong”. I have been put in the situation several times over the years. I don’t need their approval and I make up my own mind. The interesting thing I have learned is that if you just refuse to agree with their idiocy, they leave you alone and you can walk away intact. They seem to admire the fact that you can.

          Me too. 👍 I mostly skip his continual updates on the latest revelation of any of the countless scandals, because I don’t understand what the point is.

          Anybody who cares has recognized the enormity of corruption and criminal activity for at least 3 years now. Adding another piece of evidence to a pile that already reaches the sky doesn’t mean anything. It’s like a jury finding out that somebody killed 301 people instead of 300 people. Okay, great, good to know. But it’s not going to change the verdict or the punishment…

          I understand the process, I just don’t understand (and never have) how you get to their opinion being ‘right’ without an actual argument that can withstand basic scrutiny. They literally NEVER have that. All they ever have is social pressure… which is just so juvenile and demeaning, it makes a mockery of basic intellect.

          And then if you go along with it, you have to pretend like you don’t know things. And it always grows, so you have to keep all your false beliefs straight and try to answer obvious contradictions if anyone calls you out, which must be a lot of work. And most people aren’t smart enough to pull it off, which is why so many people see it so clearly in our political-class.

          I’ve known pathological liars, the kind of person who lies about things they don’t even need to lie about, because lying is just their default way of dealing with the world. It looks like a miserable existence.

          I’ve never been invited to be on a blue ribbon panel, btw.

      The Another issue with SD’s always-Eeyore perspective is that it requires a vacuum where the American People don’t exist in order to work.

      I noticed this early on at CTH. It’s like he sees the world as an alternative reality, where the actors on the stage (political class) control everything, and We the People are just sitting in the audience, apparently handcuffed to our seats. All we can do is shout helplessly in our soundproof booth.

      On at least several occasions I pointed out this weird dynamic he creates, reminding him that if one of his Twilight Zone scenarios came to fruition, the American People wouldn’t just sit on their hands, they would rush the stage and wipe everybody out.

      But because that is not written into SD’s internal ‘script’, it’s not even a possibility. Only the worst thing imaginable for We the People can ever happen in SD’s alternative reality, and there is nothing you or I or anyone else can do to stop it.

    6. The conspiratorial ousting of Trump is a wonderfully exciting timeline, in which so much karma is delivered to so many of the nasty people who I despise, that I ALMOST WANT IT.

      I am prepared for it. Those who desire it have no fucking clue what awaits them. Which is part of the extreme beauty of it all.

      2. So far President Trump has managed to keep that from happening. It is a definite possibility.
        One thing I don’t understand is how they actually realize that the USA has been supporting and defending the whole world and they still want to destroy us.
        The only thing that makes sense is that this is a war between good and evil and evil only wants death and destruction. I used to think that is simplistic, but the more I have learned, the more I know it is the only explanation for what is happening.
        We really have to stand and fight. No one survives if evil wins. Not even the evil ones. They can’t win and they won’t win.
        I am not even afraid of them anymore. The only power they have over us is our fear of them.

  12. We almost got 100 comments on here yesterday. Good sign that this site’s concept is still viable. I like that, because it gives me some flexibility. Obama isn’t the only one who needs flexibility. BUT MY NEED FOR IT IS ON 24/7/365 HOT MIC. 😉
