4GW: The UN Has Turned Into a ChiCom Spy Post – Make Them BACK DOWN on Absurd China Human Rights Appointment or KICK the UN Out of America

Not The Onion: China Selected to Serve On UN Human Rights Council Panel

Tens of thousands of people across the globe have died so far from the Wuhan Coronavirus, thanks to the fact that China lied about what was happening in the country, disappeared doctors and activists who spoke up about it, and claimed the virus was not transmissible. They kicked out U.S. journalists, lied about the total number of sick and the death count, and gave the world incomplete data that initially led the U.S. medical community to believe the virus “was serious, but smaller than anyone expected,” according to Dr. Deborah Birx.

On top of this, there is its abysmal record on human rights issues, including forcibly disappearing citizens who dissent, arbitrary detention and torture of Muslim populations, suppression of Christians, draconian restrictions on speech, and much more.

So it’s inexplicable that last week, China was named to the United Nations Human Rights Council, with Jiang Duan, minister at the Chinese Mission in Geneva, now sitting on the Council’s Consultative Group, which plays an important role in choosing human rights investigators who will oversee freedom of speech, enforced disappearances, health, and arbitrary detention abuses.

“It’s absurd and immoral for the UN to allow China’s oppressive government a key role in selecting officials who shape international human rights standards and report on violations worldwide,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, adding that it’s “like making a pyromaniac into the town fire chief.”

By joining the UNHRC panel, China will be able to influence the selection of at least 17 UN human rights mandate-holders over the next year, known as special procedures, who investigate, monitor, and publicly report on either specific country situations, or on thematic issues in all parts of the world, such as freedom of speech and religion.

China will help vet candidates for the critical UN human rights posts — serving as Chair of the interview processes for at least five of the mandates — and help decide whom to recommend for appointment. In most cases, the council president appoints the experts selected by the 5-nation panel.

The appointment of China comes despite the fact that the government in Beijing is widely considered to commit gross and systematic violations of human rights affecting its 1.3 billion people. (UN Watch)

“The UN often describes the UN human rights experts as the ‘crown jewels’ of its Human Rights Council, yet the world body only undermines their legitimacy by picking an authoritarian regime that oppresses human rights activists, dissidents and minorities to preside over the experts’ appointment,” said Neuer, noting that Venezuela, Pakistan, Eritrea, and Qatar are also among its elected members.

Look – I’m going to be very blunt.

This is not merely jaw-dropping chutzpah.

This is a 4GW attack on America.

We simply cannot put up with this stuff. It is TIME to stand up to the

CHINATIZATION OF THE UN

The UN is turning into WORSE than ChiCom spying, puppetry, and disinformation.

The United Nations is now a part of ChiCom 4GW – ON OUR SOIL.

We MUST fire back.

If we do NOT fire back proportionately, or disproportionately, then CHINA WINS.

W

BUH-BYE, UNITED NATIONS OF CHINA

    1. “The UN has become ridiculous.”

      ______________

Hasn’t the founding concept of the UN has always been ridiculous?

Sovereign nations each have unique self-interests, interests which preclude being ‘united’.

They can be “united” for short term goals, like uniting to win a war, but they cannot be ‘united’ in perpetuity unless they become ‘one’ nation.

America is 50 sovereign states (the 1783 Treaty of Paris specifically recognizes the 13 colonies “to be free sovereign and Independent States”) united in one nation.

The UN is 193 sovereign states, period. It is NOT ‘one’ and will never be ‘one’, so the very name of the organization was a fraud from inception.

The purpose of creating any “Department” (C_A, FIB, DHS, EPA, ATF, etc.) or any international ‘body’ is to consolidate power and to create a quasi-legal authority to exercise that power.

Power corrupts, as surely as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Every single department, body or institution created by man eventually becomes corrupt, usually much sooner than later.

Even well-intentioned men who would create a ‘Department’ or ‘body’ of some kind with rules and checks and balances are always destined for failure, because time is on the side of those who are motivated to subvert the institution for their own objectives. To obtain and exercise the ‘power’ which the institution was created to consolidate and project.

So at best — if the intentions of the creators was truly honorable, which is always doubtful — there is a war from the outset, between the intentions of the creators, and the members or employees who wish to manipulate the institution to their own ends, and this war always overwhelmingly favors the members of employees, because the creators who would defend the institution usually disappear after the institution is created, but those who would subvert only multiply.

So recognizing that any and every institution created by Man absolutely will become corrupt — that this outcome is literally unavoidable and has never once been avoided in the history of Man, the only question is when — then how could this problem be preemptively addressed?

The only logical solution that occurs to me is to address the instrument which is always on the side of those who would subvert the institution, i.e., time.

Any institution imbued with power by men should be limited in duration, its very existence should be time-limited. When the proposed institution is chartered, in addition to having a beginning date, it must also have an END date, at which time it is dissolved.

If it is desired and the People (and more accurately, the political climate at the time) will allow it, a new institution can be created to continue the mission, with a new expiration date time limit, with new directors and board members, etc.

And if the political climate will NOT allow it, if the institution had proved itself corrupt, then that institution is DEAD — as it should be.

As it stands, We the People can NEVER get rid of any institution once it is created, and EVERY institution becomes corrupt. These institutions and departments multiply and grow like a CANCER, they NEVER go away, and they relentlessly accumulate power (and endless tax dollars) to themselves, growing ever more corrupt with each passing day.

Men of good will and at least minimal intelligence should recognize the inherent corruption of human institutions. They claim to recognize the problem, but they never do the one thing which would ensure that the institution they create — which will become corrupt with 100% certainty — also comes to an end.

Checks and balances are necessary to preserve any institution against corruption for as long as possible, but corruption will come. Those who are motivated to subvert the institution will always win eventually, usually sooner than later.

Once the institution becomes powerful, the only thing which I am aware of, which could prevent it from being a corrupt entity in perpetuity is an expiration date, predetermined, at inception.

And the shorter the term of existence, the better.

      IMO, of course.

      1. I missed a ‘ / ‘ somewhere to use italics and boldface.

I hit the page-back button several times, and then clicked the ‘reply’ button again, and my original post was still there, so I am attempting to correct it:

  2. “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.” – Thomas Jefferson.

    _______________

Unfortunately what we have is the worst of each proposition, and the best of neither. A condition so wholly unacceptable that it’s not even contemplated by Jefferson’s expression.

What we have is dangerous slavery, which is the only kind of slavery there really is.

Therefore Jefferson’s quote inadequate and misleading, because it postulates a false premise as one of two possible choices.

    Everything is dangerous.

The real choice is either dangerous freedom or dangerous slavery. There is no ‘door number 3’ consisting of ‘peaceful slavery’, because ‘peaceful slavery’ is an inherently contradictory oxymoron.

Slavery is the imposition of violence against the body to deter escape, and violence against the mind to deter escape. Ergo, slavery is violence. ‘Peaceful violence’ is obviously contradictory gibberish.

Peaceful slavery is a deception, a rhetorical sleight of hand.

It is linguistic lipstick on a pig.
